Deeper Understandings Counseling
I believe the key to living a satisfying and fulfilled life is to live true to yourself. That is why I named my practice Deeper Understandings Counseling. My goal is for each one of my clients to look back on our journey together and without a doubt feel as if they have gained a deeper understanding of themself, a deeper understanding of how their environment impacts them, and a deeper understanding of how to effectively communicate with their loved ones. With this knowledge, collaboratively, we can begin to work on self advocation, boundary setting, goal setting and memory exploration.
Mood Deregulation & Anxiety
While creating a safe space together through rapport building, collaboratively the therapist and client will build and refine mindfulness based and grounding skills. After the client has communicated sufficient skills in self soothing, the two will begin processing past hurts at the clients desired pace.
Struggling with with unwanted thoughts and sensations in the body? Too depressed or overwhelmed to do even the simplest of tasks? Together we can work on understanding your cognitive and physical responses to stressors and how to best manage them through the use of CBT and IFS.

Are you easily distractible? Is it hard for you to get started on tasks? Or maybe you struggle to not impulsively spend money? Whether you are looking to better understand how ADHD shows up for you or how to best manage it, I believe the neurodivergent mind is a beautiful one and I am here to help you give your brain grace while getting back control.
Relationship Distress
When things go wrong in our relationships, it is hard to not be consumed by it. Together we can process the stressors and collaboratively identify how to best navigate through it with the use of self compassion, self advocation, boundary setting and improved communication.
