I believe the key to living a satisfying and fulfilled life is to live true to yourself. That is why I named my practice Deeper Understandings Counseling. My goal is for each one of my clients to look back on our journey together and without a doubt feel as if they have gained a deeper understanding of themself, a deeper understanding of how their environment impacts them, and a deeper understanding of how to effectively communicate with their loved ones. With this knowledge, collaboratively, we can begin to work on self advocation, boundary setting, goal setting and memory exploration.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by intrusive thoughts or overwhelming physical sensations? Struggling with depression or finding it difficult to manage even the simplest tasks? Together, we can explore your unique responses to stress and work on effective strategies to manage them. My goal for each client is for them to leave our time together feeling confident in their ability to experience each emotion safely and with confidence.
Together, we will create a safe and supportive space through trust and rapport, where we can develop and strengthen mindfulness and grounding techniques. Once you feel confident in your ability to self-soothe, we’ll begin to gently explore and process past trauma at a pace that feels right for you. Your healing journey will be led by your needs, and we will work collaboratively to ensure you feel empowered and supported every step of the way.

Through self-compassion, self-advocacy, boundary setting, and enhanced communication, we'll work collaboratively to help you rebuild trust, improve connection, and foster healthier relationships.
